DCB, it was a big rock. must’ve been over 4 carats. my guess is it was 5. I think he might’ve traded the rock in for 2 patek watches – at the wife’s request. and think those watches went up in value a lot too. I think she’s the real brains behind his riches but the dude is mega lucky – ie she’s a real fine catch
bxgrl, as I understand it, most of those “seats” were for standing room only. The stadium owners have offered all of them tickets for next year plus $2,400.
So 400 fans who had tickets to the Superbowl couldn’t get seated because sections of the stadium weren’t ready. They are pissed! Some of them are suing and to hear them talk, you would think it was the trauma of a lifetime.
“Rush has now started suesuperbowl.com, one of at least two websites for fans mulling possible lawsuits over the seating issue. He said he is obtaining legal counsel and is urging affected fans to get in touch. So far he has heard from about a dozen people, he said.
“We’re still figuring out what our rights are, whether damages come into play or not,” he told CNN. “This is more than just a breach of contract. … This was a very traumatic experience for a lot of these people.”
I understand inconvenience and frustration, and money lost- but it wasn’t like the NFL did it intentionally, and if not getting seated at the Superbowl is the only trauma in life they ever have, they’re in hog heaven.

I agree that the days of the dollar as the reserve currency are looking limited. China and Russia have already made plans to trade in their own currencies and the World Bank is talking about a “new reserve currency” the Bancor or something like that. It’s not like I haven’t been yelling about the absolute lunacy of this adminitration’s drive into a sovereign debt crisis. In fact my words over a year and a half ago were: “This President is busy turning a housing/credit crisis into a sovereign debt crisis”.
That’s about the time I was playfully asking DIBS about buying silver ingots because I liked to play with them like dominoes.
The President did an interview with Bill O’Reilly on Sunday. His most glaring moment of cognitive dissonance was when he stated that the economic policies that he is attempting to implement now will bring the debt/gdp ratios down to levels unseen since after WWII. WHAT??? Could he truly believe that raising the debt ceiling and cutting deficit spending down from 1.5 Trillion to say 1 Trillion yearly, will have any meaningful effect in view of our dollar’s precarious position in the world right now?

DIBS, I am guessing she does. Probably a big game hunter. Get married, have a couple of kids, quit work.
The husband ends up losing it ALL in the divorce. He’d stand a better chance and get more sympathy if he was a bank robber or a murderer.
Yep, this shark woman is looking for the big score!!!
And she gets to keep the ring, too.
I think it has to do with the script on b’stoner. I still get that error message once in awhile, whether I sue IE or firefox. Let Mr. B know but it could be your IE settings and tomorrow it will probably be fine. Sometimes it takes a computer reboot- errors can stay in ram and keep repeating until you reboot.
