I read that they were telling people after a certain point that they were out to time to evacuate, and the shelters were so crowded they were turning people away. G-d help them.

Some here will continue to blame Bush.
bxgrl, I mentioned that this morning. Winds were 180 mph…it will be far more devastating than Katrina. The prices for sugar and zinc went up globally on that Cyclone.

We had Freihofer’s when I grew up. Entemann’s bought them. Mu favorites were the sugar cookies and the fruit cookies and the chocolate donuts with chocolate frosting.
Freihofer’s had the Sunbeam Batter Whipped Bread.
