The North Western coast of Queensland. It hit Mission Beach, the largest city nearby is Cairns. I have a good friend who lives in Brisbane, which is the southern corner of Queensland. They just went through devastating floods, but it appears that Yasi hit land further north, causing devastation in the area of Mission Beach and loss of power across the area.
Although 200 day is in a downtrend still, if the 30 and 50 cross it I suspect we’re continuing upwards. maybe it’ll take a second attempt after a selloff. All eyes on the Friday numbers.
Biff – haaaa – I agree
However the thing I DO like about Entemanns is that they don’t use too many preservatives and no trans-fats, so their products do expire about a week after you buy it….
Looks like the cyclone center is further north than the area that got hit by the floods. Guess that would make sense – warmer water. Not sure that the northern part of QLD is as big a commodity producer as the southern part.

I just ate too many licorice allsorts.
Expecting sugar rush quickly followed by sugar coma.
I am pretty sure that Obama caused the cyclone – probably has something to do with him being born in Australia.

Supermarkets still sell Freihofers bread. Now part of Grupo Bimbo, a Mexican conglomerate.
Also the 200 Day MAvg is almost exactly midway to the July low. Should act as support in a correction, if one develops.
More importantly, sending out prayersfor the cyclone victims.
