  1. CGar, Mike Barnicle is a nice guy and at times he makes interesting comments and is part of that friendly (Irish?) thing going on at MSNBC. I don’t dislike him, but I find that a lot of what he says isn’t all that informed. He also is so self-deprecating (he is always saying that he doesn’t know a thing about economics yet comments anyway) that you wince sometimes.

But about Egypt, it reminds me of populist street protests which went bad, like Iran’s Green Revolution and Tianamen Square (Tianamen Square inspired by Berlin) where there is no real democratic structure to support the dissident voice, something steps in but it isn’t pretty. But I really don’t think that this is going to spread. I think it will be repressed and isolated. It looks like Mubarek brought out the goons, hate to see what next…

  2. Rob, do you know what an outhouse is? A wooden enclosure around a hole in the ground and a platform with a hole to sit on or aim at? It doesn’t even have a floor much less radiant heating!

  3. oh my…

    “Mice living in cars

    ——————————————————————————–

Anyone else have this problem? I thought it was bizzarre. I bought emergency kits for each of our cars, including some trail mis, granola and gatoraide in case someone ges stuck somewhere and mice at all of the food. The little cretins made a nest in my glove box by chewing up my registration and insurance papers.

Now we are setting traps in our cars. I have never had or hear of this problem before, but we seem to have them in three of our four cars.”

    hahahahah

    *rob*

  4. My friends in NH with the old house have a carriage house part off of the oldest part of the original house.

There’s a two-hole outhouse built into the side of it that is cantelevered off the house over the side yard. Open the tops of the holes and see the grass.
