No to defend Barnicle, but self-deprecating humour has gotten me far in life.
To the matter at hand, yes, I would agree that the protests in Egypt remind me far more of those in China and Iran, particularly given the new stance of the Egyptian Army, than the fall of the Soviet Bloc.
