Rob, I have preserved many pairs of cheap shoes and sneakers by wearing cheap rain boots! Much more comfy and easier to navigate the slushy streets, too.
i’ve been pretty lucky this winter so far, no accidents, been very good at dodging puddles and avoiding walking in deep snow. didnt bother buying boots, can’t be asked. too expensive. the last time i bought boots was a few years ago, total timerland knock-offs from one of the value stores and literally after three times using them the whole bottom of the sole dislodged from the actual boot! i think shoes and boots in general are just way too expensive which is why i get so pissy when poor people buy 200 dollar sneakers.
For sure there are more guns per capita in Yemen than in Switzerland, Lechacal’s favorite gun country! And more chaos in Yemen than in all the countries Lechacal touts as restricting gun ownership.
I wear rubber boots w/ Smart Wool socks – works perfectly & the rubber boots are high enough that when you step in one of those “lakes” at some intersections you stay dry.

Sorry to bring up a topic not to your liking, Donatella.
That’s ok. Talk among yourself. See you later.

Do you need a license to own a cross-bow?
