rf, the only relevant question is how lawless or dangerous Yemen is with widespread gun ownership as compared to how it would be with guns owned only by criminals and the state.
And how exactly did you come to your conclusion about how dangerous Yemen is? Dangerous for you perhaps, but what about for a Yemeni? I simply don’t know. I would guess you don’t either.
Nothing you have said refutes anything I have said. Widespread gun ownership by law abiding citizens makes for a safer, less authoritarian state as compared to what it would be if guns were owned just by criminals and the police, which is apparently what you advocate.
Absolute violence is far too influenced by factors having nothing to do with gun ownership. The difference in violence between Americans and Swedes has nothing to do with gun ownership.
i dont like when people wear those galoshes types waterproof boots because they stomp thru puddles with no cares about who they are splashing! totally rude. little kids under the age of 5 and white women in their 20s/30s are the main culprits of this sociopathic behavior!!

But, ummmm, donatella, I’m Jewish!!
I’m talking about Barnicle discounting his own serious commentary in his own idiosyncratic way. Not you my dear, or self-deprecating humor categorically.
“I have a relative who thinks crime would be much lower if EVERYONE owned a gun. I think she’s a crackpot.”
Crime would be much lower if everyone owned a gun. You are a crackpot.

“didnt bother buying boots, can’t be asked. too expensive.”
$25 is too much for rubber boots? You’d rather have cold wet feet? Or ruin your other shoes?

CG – What Catholic school did you go to?
If that’s true it’s correlation rather than causation.
I don’t care much about guns btw, more interested in the presentation / use of statistics.
