Here’s another good rule for some singers: “If you’re talent is in singing, stick to your knitting”. There is nothing worse than watching a singer take a stab at acting, and fall on their face. Prime example: Paul Simon in “Annie Hall”. His delivery is so bad, it’s painful to watch.

Montrose, seeing as you have a liking for the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, let me ask whether you have seen Shadowlands. It’s the story of a period in CS Lewis’s life where he falls in love. I cannot watch that movie without being moved to tears by one scene, I won’t spoil it by telling though. My wife bawled for about 5 minutes.
Waking Ned Devine was an enjoyable, wonderful movie. Good choice.
Billy Elliot should also be added to my list of favorites.

Denzel should have won for The Hurricane. He was unbelievable in that movie. He was robbed!
