An important aspect of the abortion issue is ‘choice’. None of you lived through the time when women died from coat hangers – I had friends who died & others who became sterile because of botched, illegal procedures. If abortion became illegal again there would still be women ‘choosing’ to go to doctors willing to perform them & many of those doctors would be like the guy in Philadelphia. Another salient point is ‘choice’ as it pertains to my choosing to have one & your choosing not to: but you don’t have any right to insisting on your position vis a vis my body. (At this point there’d have to be a couple of new stars in the east but you get the idea.)
Was today’s stock market sell off the beginning of a more serious correction? Or just a bump on the road to higher highs?
Anyone left to discuss?

The first case study I ever had in B school (1978) was about an order of nuns running a hospital.

I think the “religious belief” aspect of abortion is a moot point. It’s a legal issue.
