Best way is to fry it…
Cut the ends off of it, slice it up, add salt and pepper. In a ziplock bag add flour and cornmeal (mostly cornmeal ie 1cup cornmeal and 1/2 cup flour). Put okra in the bag and shake it up. Heat up skillet with oil in it, add the okra. Cook until it browns (usually 2-3 minutes on each side).
it was very pretty outside this morning. of course in 2 hours it’s just gonna be all ugly again for weeks.
okay so last night i tried this new vegetable ive never eaten before or even heard of called okra. :-/ i cooked it and mixed it with my ramen and completely ruined my entire dinner. when you bite into an okra a snot-like substance comes out, i nearly barfed after like 2 bites. SO gross.

I love Okra, but agreed with Snaps – you have to know how to make it, otherwise you get a horrible consistency!
well day #3 trapped in my house – UGH!
So I finally called TW and cancelled all our premium movie channels(HBO/Showtime/Cinemax) and saved $40 -we never watch those channels anyway

denton, eght laid an egg with their earnings so time to bail man. I’m selling whole position at mkt
Okra is foul unless it’s cooked the right way. It’s not for amateur cooks. Papa Snappy used to make it taste great.
I took a walk around my block with a camera this morning. The snow in the trees and stuck to the trunks was quite beautiful.
Sun is out…HOORAY!

Delepp, I got out there with my camera this morning too. Aimed for the trees. They do look amazing.
