  1. Best way is to fry it…

Cut the ends off of it, slice it up, add salt and pepper. In a ziplock bag add flour and cornmeal (mostly cornmeal ie 1cup cornmeal and 1/2 cup flour). Put okra in the bag and shake it up. Heat up skillet with oil in it, add the okra. Cook until it browns (usually 2-3 minutes on each side).

  2. I love Okra, but agreed with Snaps – you have to know how to make it, otherwise you get a horrible consistency!

well day #3 trapped in my house – UGH!

So I finally called TW and cancelled all our premium movie channels(HBO/Showtime/Cinemax) and saved $40 -we never watch those channels anyway

  3. it was very pretty outside this morning. of course in 2 hours it’s just gonna be all ugly again for weeks.

okay so last night i tried this new vegetable ive never eaten before or even heard of called okra. :-/ i cooked it and mixed it with my ramen and completely ruined my entire dinner. when you bite into an okra a snot-like substance comes out, i nearly barfed after like 2 bites. SO gross.
