  1. bxgrl,
NYC has more Vermeer’s than any other city in the world I believe. I that’s a plus for us New Yorkers.

I’ve gone to the Met on occasion just to look at this painting by Bastien-LaPage:

…in person, you’d swear Joan of Arc moves.

    lechacal and benson,
I totally know what you’re getting at with science behind music or art,
remember a few months ago I was talking about the science of harmonics and how I couldn’t get the “idea” of a piano for years. Despite mrslegion trying to explain it to me. Then I read about the 8 octaves in the piano range and how each follows the following progression n = n X 2 hz and it all clicked into place.

  2. Very interesting mail today:

    1) Got an email from Sara Faraj, 62, Kuwait, widow (husband died in car accident) now suffering from lung cancer affecting her lungs and brain, sitting in a hospital bed with a laptop. Sold everything. Now needs help in distributing her 26 million pounds of assets to motherless children. Should I help her?

    2) I got an email from a federal agency informing me that they were finally able to give me the settlement I was looking for. All I need to do is fill out their form with a few numbers. Sounds easy.

    3) Best of all – I won 2 million dollars from the Yahoo lottery!!!!!!!
