  1. I just spilled a huge bottle of tomato juice behind my desk and on my pants. I look like a total idiot.

And our boss, a former district manager, just spent 20 mins. relabeling the office soda vending machine to read correctly.

  2. rf,
$20 or $30 it does seem expensive. Worth it, but expensive if you’re not a student or a kid.
I do pay full price now though, just to avoid large crowds.

here’s a tip for the Metropolitan although I don’t know if it still works.
Even though admission is “suggested”, it feels funny telling the cashier that you want to pay 78cents, so to avoid losing face just go into the gift shop and up the elevator to the second floor. Once there, you can casually saunter in to the galleries without raising suspicion.
Again, I pay full price these days but used to be I worked at Roy Rogers. ;O)

  3. Lech- Gothic cathedrals are a perfect example of math and music in visual art. Those relationships determined the architectural relationships.

Legion, I agree its an amazing painting but it also creeps me out for some reason. My favorite rooms in the Met are the Medieval rooms.
