CGar, I’m having the exact same problem and was going to have my IT Group uninstall the flash player. I guess it’s a problem with Brownstoner and not my computer.
Instead of sporadically, I now get the following message every time I refresh the OT or try to open another thread:
“A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?”
I click “Yes”, but it still doesn’t abort the script.
Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it (other than not reading Brownstoner)?
FWIW, doesn’t seem to be a problem in the forum.
Yep, this flash thing is out of control.
Same problem here.
CGar — I get the same thing. Constantly, today. And it is not happening with other sites.
Mr. B?
CGar, that shit has been happening for a while already but it’s down right painful today

Cgar, the same thing stated happening to me every time I would view the page.
For now, I have installed the FlashBlock add-on for Firefox, which disables all embedded flash in web pages.
3 or 4 of the ads on every page are really flash programs, and at least one is causing this.
