Yes, of course, but think of the hours of commenting/mud-slinging joy! : P
I miss THL- she must be so busy with the baby. But I agree brownstoner had calcified. Bakc when MM and I first started posting, it was not about real estate so much as life in Brooklyn brownstone neighborhoods. Now its very formulaic and Montrose’s columns aer the only columns that add something of interest for those of us who aren’t renting, buying or looking.

Oh, sorry, I wasn’t pointing any fingers, CGar. Just making an observation.
No doubt good ideas could crop up here. Just not sure a) we’re such a huge influence on hits/page views, and b) that the blog is in bad shape. Maybe it’s just a been there/done that feeling, and we need a little new stuff?
cobble, I really didn’t mean to start a “bash the blog” discussion. I still love the blog. I was just surprised to see a host of threads that interested me all posted at the same time, when often lately there are a dearth of interesting threads.
But, now I find it interesting that we’re all on the same page. And I know it explains why a lot of regulars don’t post as much, some not at all, anymore.
I don’t know if Mr. B ever reads the OT. I would were I him since God knows the OT generates a lot of hits and a lot of ideas every day. But, this would all be good feedback for him I would think.
I’d still like to meet him.

I’m making chili today. A BIG pot. And I’m going to go out to Union Market and get some good bread to go with it! : )
