Haven’t gauged politics. General level of douchbaggery seems acceptable.
Think we might be shifting focus from Dobbs Ferry to Irvington. Really is a nicer town but downside, as I said on another OT, is the downtown is dominated on one side by a big estate owned by a guy I used to work for and apparently another partner from that firm sits on the zoning committee and would be in a position to approve or disapprove any reno I want to do. Tough to escape those fuckers.
Thanks! I think I told you I was waiting for word on a job since before the holidays. I’ve been playing my cards very close to the vest since I didn’t really want to say anything until it was final given what happened with the last job, but I think I’m safe now.

so im in the supermarket last night and this woman with a baby strapped to her boobs and stomach was like excuse me can you do me a favor? can you reach up for that salad dressing? so i get it for and when im handing it to her she goes, you can put it in the basket. okay whatever good deed done… i saw her TWO more times asking various people to grab stuff for her and put it in her basket.
dave, you and Biff and I really should have gone out for a few drinks yesterday, like we did the day before I started my last job here. Nothing like a few Bloody Marys (or Jameson shots, whatever) to relax me before starting a new job. Then again, look how that turned out . . .
