I was reading last night about how with broadband becoming standard everywhere, there’s no reason Omaha and Austin wouldn’t steal the creative class from New York.
good! let them steal away! “creative class” is nothing than a code word for lazy ass white people.

The city is offering the remaining residents in those areas relocation assistance. If they insist on staying, the city is telling them that they are “off the grid”. Rochester, NY and Detroit are doing the same thing.
detroit keeps SAYING they are going to do that, they have for many years, but never do it. and most likely never will.
While you are debating getting the guns into the hands of people, I spoke to the Principal and Head of 88th Precinct community affairs about the shooting of the 5 young people on Clermont/Vanderbilt and Greene on Friday night. They both said that the shooting was not related to the students or the game, that the people who were targeted weren’t students and all of this happened coincidentally with the ending of a game. The Principal said that they were working with NYPD. I told NYPD that they should reschedule the meeting with the community sooner – that we are all concerned about this and waiting for better weather in a month doesn’t work. The officer is supposed to get back to me.
ugh my motor vehicle non drivers license ID expires in 2 weeks.. i feel like i was just in that stupid place yesterday! question do you have to go in person to do this? i only had to go in person last time i think cuz i needed a completely new ID.. i like the one i currently have and i prefer to keep the w. 15th manhattan address that is listed on it. can i just leave that address or can that cause problems down the line with something? tho honestly it hasnt caused any problems in the last three years. i also remember there being a fee but i cant remember if it was a small fee or something ridiculous

On its surface this is true. However, in reality it’ll never happen, like “work at home”

rob, I think you can do it online. Well, maybe not you, but anyone else could.
“yeah – only if the legal system can tell the difference between the “good guys” and the “bad guys” in the ghetto.”
A state cannot be less violent than its people.
The difference between everyone having guns and only criminals having guns is that the former situation is more stable.

Lechacal, please move to Tucson! Carry your gun around everywhere.
Violence comes out of power vacuums.
First they prohibit you from owning guns.
Because they will protect you. What do you need a gun for?
And then they ignore you.
But the criminals have guns.
And nature abhors a vacuum.
We need to give more guns to law abiding citizens.
