OTOH it was a good day to do the commuting dry run. If the trains run right after a snowstorm (last week) and during freezing rain (this morning) I think I’m in pretty good shape.
bill bellichek is not the nicest guy but dude might be the best coach in the game of all time. niceness is over-rated from a coaching standpoint at the pro levels.
Since my mother-in-law has come to live with us, I have two new rituals in my life:
1) “Breakfast with mom”
2) Getting a very detailed report on the weather situation during breakfast.

The best part of the Super Bowl is sometimes the commercials. Some are really well-done. Remember the famous Apple “Big Brother” ad?
I’ve paid for sex – but only in terms of alimony.
I’m sure hookers would have been cheaper, and ultimately more emotionally satisfying.

Sports are entertainment; anything more than that is going too far. I don’t even feel like watching the Super Bowl this year; who cares.
I find that the more money, the more fascinating the lay.
Any sport becomes fascinating as soon as there is money laid down on the outcome.
