    in my opinion, it all depends on how one goes about getting someone’s real name and personal details. It’s one thing if someone voluntarily chooses to share their personal information with others here. I respect the privacy of people here, and wait for them to share their personal information with me, but only if and when they are ready to do so

    I get kind of creeped out when I’m open with someone about who I am and they want to be coy about who they are.

    The whole identity thing and revealing real names is weird. I guess at first I can understand some people being leery of revealing their real names. But after developing a real friendship with someone, I’d find it odd not to know their real name.
