i don’t understand the point of a notary.. anyone could take study to take the test, it’s really dumb. i know someone who did it who is very very VERY dumb and can now notarize stuff.

Slopey, assuming you have an account at Chase, Citi or most other big banks, many branches have NPs that will notarize documents for their customers free of charge.
