The Philippines is not a true “Asian” culture. it’s mostly hispanic. I always say that it’s like that island floated over there frrom Latin America.

You know what’s funny, the Spanish from Spain today,
tend to disavow any connection to the colonies they once had. The French and English are more responsible in that respect.
