I have to agree. It is also true about flipping someone the bird. It is so hard to restrain ones’ self especially is you are startled and pissed at the same time, but it is true…..there are a lot of nuts out there. Once when I was young, someone tried to run me off the road when I did that. Another time about 10 years ago on a highway, a tractor trailer decided to tailgate me at 80 miles an hour with his brights blinding me because I did that. I still have to think but there are people who will HURT you.

The yield curve has steepened. rates have already risen off of their lows. They will not move lower. they are not likely to get more than 50-75 basis points higher, in my opinion.
DCB there was a distressing rise in Treasury yields in Dec (as I was getting ready to refinance). Right now, the bands are playing with equities, but the FED is out there with QEII (what came out of the FED meeting today) and I think there is a shot they may come off a little. But that is also talking my book.
Okay, I just googgled Forest Hills.
YES, I’ve been there. We have acquaintances that live in the area and we went to a Sushi place nearby; which sucked!
We got there early so we walked around the nabe before meeting at the restaurant. It seemed, on one side of the train station where buildings and lots of shops and the other was this quiet enclave of beautiful houses.
Alternate side suspended through Saturday.

My guess is that mortgage rates will creep up through the year, but still say low.
