  1. “Biffy – Who’s it for? You’re too young for mid-life crisis!”

Thanks Arkady, but it’s for me. Being Jewish, I like to get an early start on my neurosis.

  2. I find that the odds are better at places like AC or Las Vegas, compared to casinos on cruise ships. This observation is based entirely upon my experience at blackjack 🙂

  3. I believe that almost all the casinos in the US are 100% smoking on the floor.

Nevada recently passed an anti-smoking law that included most public places but specifically excluded gambling areas.

  4. Cruise ships can only open up their casinos once they hit “international waters” which I think is 3 miles off of the coastline. After that, anything goes.

  5. D-Cat, Norman Calvo helped me with buying my building and then refinancing to a better deal. I was starting the process of refinancing again when T Bond yields spiked up, but need to check back with him. He is smart, respectful, very capable.

  6. Benson, I did a quick Google search and I think you and Pete are right. Casinos often have, at a minimum, designated smoking floors/areas.

I think cruise ships typically operate on a different set of rules (given they’re often registered in Europe, are subject to international naval rules – however that’s properly referred to, etc.).
