I find that the odds are better at places like AC or Las Vegas, compared to casinos on cruise ships. This observation is based entirely upon my experience at blackjack 🙂
Cruise ships can only open up their casinos once they hit “international waters” which I think is 3 miles off of the coastline. After that, anything goes.

Benson, I did a quick Google search and I think you and Pete are right. Casinos often have, at a minimum, designated smoking floors/areas.
I think cruise ships typically operate on a different set of rules (given they’re often registered in Europe, are subject to international naval rules – however that’s properly referred to, etc.).
Mohegan Sun???

Nevada recently passed an anti-smoking law that included most public places but specifically excluded gambling areas.
