Gem, I have the Brita, and I’m perfectly happy with it, notwithstanding what my picky lesbo GF says.
Gem, I use a Brita pitcher. But I use the no-name filters from Pathmark–they are less messy.
DeLepp- thos pictures are framed and will be put in the family room of the gingerbread house. I will then offer private viewings to Plusas (for a hefty fee). This way i can help eHubby make more money to buy me more houses 🙂

I used to own a Brita. Total pita. Constant changing of filters and the filters ain’t cheap! You’d do better with a faucet mount filter.
