I just substituted the word “jerk” (not the most pleasant word, I agree) for the offending a..h..e and presto! the rewrite went right through.
Benson may be able to guess to whom both those adjectives were intended.

The little underscores between the words give it away – you can see them if you look carefully! They hover above the underline just a touch.
