so did Cuba. Very thoughtful, so on your way back to NYC from Cancun or the Bahamas, US customs would not know that you were ILLEGALLY visiting the forbiden land of Puros and Churchills.
I have always been censured rather than pitied, and that’s how I like it! It is tricky to go to Yemen as an American.
As in most Islamic Republics, if your passport has a stamp in it from Israel, you will probably not be let in. That is why the Israeli govt used to give one the option of stamping a “slip in page” so as not to cabash your travel plans elsewhere in the region. You really need to go either as guests of one of the country’s institutions or a government group, or like me, on a cultural tour set up by a well-known museum.
