I would go right to the dept of finance website and put in the block and lot number to find the taxes. This is an issue where there should be no bullshit at all.
Didn’t check it out on street easy.

DCB — There are many levels of bullsh*t in the BK RE market. You’ve experienced but a mere fraction of what goes on. I learned the hard way that where there’s bullsh*t, there’s inevitably more. I’ve never had anyone who lost my trust gain it back. Keep your eyes open, stay on top of your lawyer to go to bat for you and do not open up side channels of communication. Good luck.
