  1. OK, I went back to see the tail end (nh) of Monday’s HOTD thread, not because of the debate over the meaning of super rich, but because I can’t stop rubbernecking about that house, since I used to live on that block and vaguely know the seller (but not well enough to know what they were smoking). Anyway, about 8 hours after the thread dropped off the b’stoner home page, there were the following three posts, commentary in brackets:

    BrownstonerButtBoy,
Messing up a dead thread that nobody’s reading? You really show off what a big boy you are with your tough talk. You are a sad, small man.

[Clyde — you go on a thread that’s been dead and gone from the home page more than 8 hours to say that? Burnt and charred pot meet kettle. And truly pathetic.]

“But you are an asshat.” (ClydeFrazier)

Ah! And there I was all worried that no one would see my late night post.

[13 hours after thread’s death. I’m worried about you, nomi.]

    Swishing and dishing.

[Now I’m really worried about you. Do you have a night job or insomnia?]

btw, I have my theories about Clyde, which I vetted at Loki last week.

  2. Bryant’s Turk Ties Ire L.A. Armenians
Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) — Armenians in Los Angeles will campaign against Kobe Bryant’s sponsorship deal with Turkish Airlines and are urging him to drop it, the western U.S. chapter of the Armenian Youth Federation said.
Turk Hava Yollari AO, also known as Turkish Airlines, announced that it signed Bryant, a guard for basketball’s Los Angeles Lakers, to be a “global brand ambassador” yesterday as it seeks to publicize the start of direct flights from Istanbul to Los Angeles.
The California city is home to the biggest population of Armenians outside of Armenia and has a large community of activists who demand that the U.S. recognize the early 20th century killings of Armenians in Turkey as genocide.

I guess the Armenian cheering section next to Nicholson will be absent at the Lakers games from now on!!!!!!
