huh?
…the left and right jacks you just wrote about are the red and white male plugs I was referring to.
the red male goes to the red female on the stereo
and the white male goes to the white female on the stereo.
single stereo 3.5mm plug leading from the audio output of the Ipod mixer,
to
the red male and white male plugs
to
the red female and red female (RCA) inputs on the
stereo system amplifier.
Benson, you’re not going to post till someone answers “yes, it’s safe”? when in doubt, just serve up a tester post like what size meatballs are appropriate etc
It’s simple. It’s like a set of ipod phones. The jack into the ipod has two segments. Look at a photo. That allows a single male plug to pick up left and right channels.
But instead of going to a left and right earpiece, as in ipod, the stereo output here will go to a left and right jack that can be picked up by a regular stereo, a mixer, or some other equip.
It’s not the mini-plug that’s the issue, it’s knowing what the other piece you’re plugging into is, and that’s why the tech couldn’t help.
I’ve had yellow males plug a white male.
“the red female and red female (RCA) inputs on the

that should read
the red female and white female (RCA) inputs on the
stereo system amplifier.
denton- do you know where to get a converter so a 2.5 earplug jack can fit a 3.5?
M4L, I am starting a fan club for you….
