  1. Good hats are made from a basic wool or hair felt starting in out in a rough basic shape, then are steam shrunk on a wood or metal block form to take the final size, shape and style. Each different style hat has a different block form.

When they say they will block the hat, they probably do steam and reshape the hat on some form of block.

  2. Denton, prior to it crossing 2.00, stk was super weak in btwn earnings hence why it was a great trading stk. thought it became a more steady buy & hold after it powered up above 3.00 post earnings. am still eying it now to see if this is the ousted chairman selling his shs or if stk is reverting to it’s old habit of being super weak in btwn earnings. it’s definitely worth buying more shs as I think it’s earnings growth is pretty rock solid. just a matter of timing for juiciest entry point.

  3. benson- they call it “blocking” because hats are shaped over wooden blocks which come in different shapes depending on the style. The fabric is steamed and shaped , or in some cases actually sandwiched in between two pieces of wood to literally sculpt the fabric.
