what is the most reliable place to look up if a house is zoned to what school? houses in south slope starting to look decent – only if they’re zoned to that school Lech’s kids are attending
From this land I’m buying one can walk ten miles through the woods to the cemetary where I will be buried, crossing only three roads.
There is a stream that runs through the land. Good brook trout fishing. Along the stream, there is a disused town road. It’s still on the official town maps, but it hasn’t been used for a couple hundred years. There are remnants of a couple of old mills and stone cellars from the 18th century. You can almost see men in three corner hats riding their horses past little houses with wood smoke coming out of their chimneys. No one in the town seems to know about this road, or if they do they don’t care.

That’s a good point. Reflecting back on it (no pun intended), I do recall Mrc C haggling with the saleslady in Cantonese. They were probably goofing on my nerdy look.
