OK later fools. I missed my train –> bus connection in New Haven so I’m stuck here for a couple of hours. I’m going to go walk around the Yale campus and enjoy the beautiful day.
Maybe my point came out overstated. My point was that corporate america has a LOT to be thankful for right now, given where we were in Sept./Oct. 2008. Many factors in the mix, including, but not limited to, steps taken by Bush and Obama admins. It strikes me as unseemly, however, that such a massive volume of corporate dollars would go to fund so many campaigns and so many ads (many quite venomous) that were premised on the notion that we are woefully on the wrong track and that collectively were organized around the idea of the need to wrench our politics and policy aggressively in an entirely different direction.
i don’t like fish sticks bc i’m not a gay fish.

Can I deduct the receipt for the toys I bought to donate to the toy drive?????
DIBS what you get is not akin to a lap dance. It is akin to eating fish sticks.
You don’t deduct the lap dances as an unreimbursed business expense?
bravo lech, and they probably paid for their beers with dad’s retirement money.
DIBS, diff btwn an ABC vs FOB is current FOBs are businessmen vs current ABCs are content with a cushy office gig
lechacal, that logic is very hard to refute.
that’s why I give money directly to mexican illegal immigrants for something akin to a lap dance instead of the United Way.
Jackal,
