Etson, WU charges a lot for wiring. It used to be 10%. I was a consultant for that company once and really became seriously turned off them; they’re a company who makes huge money mostly off the “unbanked” and unsophisticated — mostly immigrants sending money back home. It made me want to start some kind of campaign to help poor people figure out alternatives. Now they have bank to bank products but still charge larcenous rates for them.
