  1. Yes, any country with its own currency does.
One of the issues in Europe right now is that the printing press is centrally controlled (i.e. for the whole Eurozone) whereas each country has its own individual debt (probably!).

  2. Yes, jessi, every country has it’s own central bank and can do open market purchases of debt and/or currency. Only developed countries though have a big market in government debt.

  3. I have gas too.
Question: I went to move my neighbor’s car for alt side. She’d left it in a new place & hadn’t checked the signs – our block has 11:30 to 1:00. Where she was is 9:00 to 10:30. BUT! There was no ticket on it. I don’t know if we were spared or if someone took our tkt to put on his own car. Is there a link for seeing if you have a ticket?

  4. “My gas LPs have been doing very well all year long and have great yields, still!!!”

My LPs are vinyl. They still sound great after years and years of wear. Maybe I should post that in the vinyl siding thread.

  5. Propane, Pete. Ranges have to be “tuned” to work properly on propane. if you’re getting red/orange flame and not blue, yours needs adjustments or a different jet installed.

I have propane in Bucks & MA for the range. With god as my witness, i will never cook on an elecric range.
