  1. dave- I disagreed with you and told you why, but for you and benson, the simple act of disagreeing with your politics seems to get the rest of us labeled as “morons.” And yet you complain that I called Palin a terrorist.

  2. benson- this is why you made the baiters list- “Wasder was yucking it up”. Show me the quotes. He did no such thing. He stated his opinion, just as you are stating yours, and yet you take offense.

You love to point fingers at liberalism and yet conservatism has become even more rigid of an othodoxy. Cut taxes! Cut spending! Less Government! Less choice! All liberals are socialists! You have a huge blind spot when it comes to yourself and your politics. You tie in diversity and anti-choice to NY’s economic problems when in fact they have nothing to do with it- or about as much as the “Conservative Family Values” you push.

  3. “There is no such discussion in modern-day liberalism, and nowhere is that more true than in New York. It is simply amazing to me that we have a state that is on the verge of bankruptcy, that is losing businesses and population, that has an ever-narrowing economic base and yet the oh-so-sophisticated voters of NY return the same hacks and crooks to Albany. All they have to do is recite the platitudes that liberals want to hear – I’m for diversty! -I’m pro-choice! – I stand for the working man! and they get a pass to Albany to continue their corrupt ways.”

And bxgrl was trying to lecture me about calling anyone who voted for the incumbents a “moron.”

Every single state is in a big mess wrt the pensions. Only NJ has taken the first steps.

You people who voted for the Albany incumbents get what you deserve. Txes here, already about the highest in the country, will go up. I will have alrerady moved to a state where they are <3%.

    Happy retirement.
