JB, we used to trade candy, too. There were always some people who gave out the WORST candy every year. Then there were the people who gave out apples or oranges – now I love apples and oranges, but NOT on Halloween. Other neighbors gave out amazing homemade candy apples and caramel apples (in the pre-razor-blade-scare days). We lived in a neighborhood for trick or treating, where there were endless houses, and we would literally walk miles from start to finish. By the time we got home, we would each have not only one of those huge plastic pumpkins full of candy, but we also brought pillowcases for the “overflow”, and they were always full too.
[Note to Self: If you ever wondered why you were a fat kid . . . ]
My mother used to make fabulous costumes for my twin and I. One year is was beautiful Pierrot outfits and another year we had iridescent gold ballerina costumes. Then she made us beautiful kimonos. We were always dressed alike- you would be amazed how much more candy adorable twins get 😉
ET- my sister dressed her son in a little devil costume. So cute. So true.
i have no clue how this role reversal day thing works.

Ha! Biff, you should delay your response and then crash to the ground for an hour or two 🙂
