  1. Morning folks;

    I made a rare drive to work today, up the Henry Hudson Highway. A beautiful, clear day, the colors were blazing – life is good! IMHO, the Henry Hudson Parkway is one of the most beautiful drives in the whole country.

    Yes, I will join you guys tomorrow for lunch.

    Today in the WSJ there is an essay by the GREAT Shelby Steele on the meaning of the Obama presidency, in the larger sense. I strongly urge all to read it. He states so eloquently some of the things I have been trying to say on the OT. Here it is:

    Dibs, why did you turn it off? I found it a bit boring and if he really wanted to do some grandstanding – that’s the sort of place he could do it without getting any tough questions thrown at him! I wish he had
