1. Went to Tristle Hill Tavern for dinner on Thursday and it was totally meh – Dunno what 11217 was raving about. The burger was OK, the fries were too salty and peppery. The chicken dish was way oversalted and kinda plain compared to how it was described. Drinks were decent and the pickled vegetables appetizer was more or less decent. Not going back.
2. Went to the new Qatra coffee shop by my house on Cortelyou and the mocha had to be one of the best mochas I have ever had. The place is super cute too.

I wouldn’t advise going to FIPS. Apparently they are wise to the game, and are playing hardball.
