ew, what!? i have never heard of that. are they getting high from methane, the compound that synthesizes with oxygen to form poo mist? so youre telling me people get high off poo mist? gag!
Funny, for all the talk I hear about how many people think the West village is their favorite place (including mine), I only know one person who lives there.
CatGar – My co-op was on 10th between Hudson & Greenwich St. (not Av.) Estb 1978 or so. Back off a courtyard – very nice & one of the first conversions that far west.
at least the tourists in williamsburg tho are there for something “somewhat” authentic and trying to experience something nyc-ish.. tourists in soho tho, eeeks, it’s like they come here specifically to shop at the Gap and stuff! it’s like aint that same shit much cheaper back home!? tho whatever, i guess it’s good they spend their dollars here.
Oh – and the bodegas in soho SUCK! they seriously charge like 3 bucks for a dutch master (which are always stale) and like $2 for a package of Bambu papers. Pretty much half that in Brooklyn.
I want some spicy hot chocolate. Yum. The Chocolate Room has a pretty good one.
