I think I recall a Japanese Co-worker of mine saying she could read chines but can’t speak or understand it at all b/c the Kanji alphabet is the same
I never would have suggested giving that much or spending that much. Completely insane. Why encourage or condone this indoctrination into religion anyway. Borders on child abuse.

I think language in China is amazing. Maybe when I have some time I can study the history of the language, which I’m thinking will include studying lots of war (yay!!!) by default.
I watched a goodly part of the game from my office. I like to keep a professional demeanor; I comport myself in a controlled and reasoned fashion at all times. (yes) So when I started cakewalking and fist pumping and (semi) yelling, I thought I better leave and go to a bar. I actually had to leave to meet somebody for a short meeting, then afterwards ran into a local bar and continued….
