the owner of freeman’s is a dick – i walked by their new place on bowery this weekend and it looked like douche central. they better bring their a-game cuz if freeman’s didn’t have that awesome alley location it wouldn’t be popular at all
Mopar, I totally forgot about a nice restaurant to go to for lunch midtown – we were discussing that the other day — I took a guy Monday to AVRA on 48th St. between 3rd and Lex. – it’s Greek and has lots of seafood. It was great and the great thing is that they are so nice there — it is a great place for a business lunch which isn’t “pull out the stops.”
Fresh tomato slices with fresh mozzerella and real balsamic vinegar is a tasty treat. Crap. Now I’m hungry and don’t want what I have to cook for dinner 🙁
well, mrs d won’t be home for two hours, so time to listen to some LPs that have been piling up.
I actually had a very good meal at Freeman’s when they opened a few years ago
but it was beardo central
