jessi, one shouldn’t think too hard about the universe, whether it goes on infinitely , has a beginning or end and what that might look like, or how it was started and what was “here’ before it started or you’ll lose your mind.
For tonight, I want you all to ponder the following:
Infinity
Does the universe have a defined space? If so, what’s outside that space?
How did the universe begin or was it “always.”
I disagree, rob. Both spouses are entitled to seek alimony during a divorce. The only exception should be that the parent with primary physical custody should not have to pay alimony.
I have a friend who earned way more than her husband. After the divorce she ended up with custody of the kids AND had to pay her ex-husband spousal support. The funniest thing is that she did NOT want custody of the kids because she spends about 50% of her time away traveling for work and thought it would be disruptive. Her husband didn’t want custody because he didn’t want the responsibility. Now she pays him and a part time nanny.
jinx, jester. My head hurts.
The universe is scary to me. I wonder what other beings look like. Sometimes I dream about the creatures Octavia Butler wrote about.

i know donatella – just joking
Nothing boggles the mind more than trying to comprehend what lies beyound the limits of the Universe, and what was there before.
Rob, re: divorce and settlements and whatnot, take a look at this.
Everyone else, if you want to wade into the emotional park slope blog post of the day, here it is.

Why is it that little kids don’t freak out when they learn about the universe?
