  1. bxgrl, not at all – I mean relative to the other lines – we (and I often count myself among the 2/5 train riders)are different from people who take the 3/4, or the A/C, or the Q, or any of the others. I think each line develops its own personality, and to compare the 4/5 at Broadway Nassau to the 2/5 at, say, President St., doesn’t work.

  2. quote:
“to truly see the 2/5 in isolation and thereby appreciate their unique characteristics you need to see them after (meaning deeper into Brooklyn) Franklin Ave. ”

you don’t get more condescending or offensive than that, folks.

yeah, seriously. wtf? im so glad it’s my last day here today. i better get a cake by 530!

  3. lech, the minute I stepped out of the subway I saw that bastion of left wing liberalism skulking in the park.

We spoke briefly and yes, the name “Paladino” was uttered!!!! LOL

I’m headed to the MD. Cranky as I’ve had no breakfast before my blood tests.

    Carry on.

How is that condescending or offensive?

Anyways, you show me any post, doesn’t matter who wrote it or what it’s about, and I can do one that is more condescending and more offensive, 100% iron clad guaranteed.

  5. ishtar, . <— see that? it’s the world’s tiniest violin for your friends who moved to a working class neighborhood in nj and now can’t sell their overpriced property.

sorry, but the schools in hoboken are fine. end of story. just because they aren’t teaching their precious little snowflakes french in pre-k doesnt make them bad.
