  1. Lech, that bedrm TV is usually for the kid. he likes to watch TV on our bed plus it’s good oppty for us to sit next to him and teach him stuff while he watch. that said though, would’ve put a tv there even without the kid cause wife loves to fight me for the remote in living rm and I often lose and get banished to the room

  2. “I also open the windows at night to let in fresh air when I’m visiting them. I’m pretty sure they think I’m some kind of hippie.”

Yes, no tv in bedroom or living room for us. Just one in the den/guestroom/everything else room. And yes to fresh air. If they think you’re a hippie, they must be reacting to your long hair.

  3. “lech, I agree with you about TVs in bedrooms. I’m against them. Bedrooms should be for sex, sleeping, and maybe some reading.”

    i agree too – good thing I live in a 16×12 room.

  4. Typed a response and got logged out. This site has its challenges. M4L, it is easy to waste money in the grocery store. I was spending a lot of money at Fairway and throwing out half of the food – buying too much.

Also, for super cheap food in Brooklyn — Rothman Farms on 3rd Avenue and 22nd St. Cheapest fruits and vegetables around. Every kind of Hispanic food – including cheapest Goya products, rice, beans etc. Also, cheapest nuts.
    WAY CHEAPER THAN FAIRWAY.
