I mostly ride the bus. There, it’s all about the ipod with cheap earphones that let everyone around you hear your music. Everyone seems to be listening to something with the lyrics ‘wish right now wish right now wish right now.’ No idea what it is, but damn it’s annoying.

Ha! I never heard the ’10 cents a cup’ part!
**
That’s what we always use to say back in the day in ‘ol ENY.
Hey Snappy I was sorry to hear about your little misfortune. My best wishes go out to you. I have been there myself, and all I can tell you is hang in there, keeping working at it and things will improve. I’d be willing to bet you’re tough enough to handle this.
OK seriously though, has anyone else noticed that the subway is full of white women between the ages of 25 and 35 reading the dragon tattoo book? And it’s been going on for months? Yesterday morning I saw two women sit next to each other reading the book, and they were like these little white clones, and I was looking at them and started kind of chuckling a bit, and one of them caught me, and then it turns out she got off at my stop and works for the same firm (d’oh!).
Thanks, ENY. I’m trying to find some kind of gig to stay here, and hopefully something will pop up before I have to bounce out.

big baseball night tonight. A Texas Rangers win will be good for the Yankees. Go Rangers!
“dragon tattoo book”
BH just finished reading the series, says they’re real page turners. I haven’t started the first one yet.
“And you will likely live to be 110!”
At this point, I’ll settle for half of that!

Pete, when ya eat something like bacon, to hell with the nutrition info!
I bought some pork chops from the farmer’s market in Union square last year where the fat was two inches thick. Delicious.
