Snappy! OMG! I understand what you are doing, but, like all my fellow PLUSAs, hoping something great comes up, like tomorrow! OK, maybe wait for Tuesday after the “holiday.”
I agree with those who have advised you to cut your losses and find something else. I, too, have worked for passive-aggressive miserable bosses. Obviously everyone knows about her, but there she sits–I don’t think it’s worth taking a chance to knock her off.
Not that it’s ever good to be looking for a job, but better now than later. And certainly keep those emails and keep documenting!
Snappy, you still there? So sorry to hear you’re planning on leaving Bklyn. Have you tried going out on your own as a solo practitioner? I know some folks who have done that in recent years, and if you start off working from home (so no office expense) and meeting clients in hotel lobbies and the like, you can start your practice on a shoe string. Of course, this doesn’t work if you’ve already depleted your savings to pay your rent and the like. Just a thought!
No- its WTC stuff that’s affecting everything lately. I have to go back to Mt. Sinai. 🙁
Cgar,
Get your mortgage and pass your co-op board interview before you cut your losses. IMO
