To all of you people well older than 30, it is neither helpful nor comforting for you tell Kens, ’30 is nothing.’ If you were turning 60, would you want some geezer telling you it’s no big deal?
Kens, I see no one set you straight yet so let me do it. Society is biased very favorably toward men when it comes to age. the old “30” is now the “32”. at 32 is when you can let some of that anxiety to creep in. till then, you’re still in the 27-32 range where you’re matured but not yet on the escalating “boring” curve.

MM, that’s why I can’t read those “hood” novels. They’re just awful. Change the characters names and you get the same story book after book. It annoys me that they’ve taken over “African-American” section at the major bookstore chains.
HA! i love some of those, but seriously, in the last 5 or so years they have gotten SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOO bad.
I also tend not to read the ones where it’s the same author churning out those books every couple of months… usually stick to first time authors with that genre.
Glad to hear it went well Lech. Going under the knife is always worrisome, so I guess we can thank your procedure for the refreshing bit of honesty from you this morning
“With respect to the tea party, so far, on the OT, I have heard only impotent mouths flapping in the wind.”
I never thought we would hear you admit to being an impotent mouth flapping in the wind.
My junk reading habit is the OT
Get the popcorn, m4l, here it comes^^^^^^^^^

Donatella,
when you’re done celebrating with your old friends, you can celebrate again with your young friends (Sorry CGar, you dont make cutoff for this gather)
Because beating up teenage boys being teenage boys, is something to be proud of?
I’m turning 55 this year. Should I have a party?? I had a big one at 50 at Japas 38, the Karaoke place in Manhattan.
Or should I just sulk?
