No – first you toast one side in the broiler, then remove, turn over, and then put the cheese on the un-toasted side and toast untilit bubbles.

Friday night I went to a Books Through Bars fundraiser/movie night. The movie was “Falling Down” and the person who selected it said he had wanted something nihilist.

Everything was “suggested donation” and they served eggplant hot dogs (not bad) and veggie burgers and grilled pineapple and zucchini.

No one is more egalitarian than small collective American Marxists – any perceived sense of unfairness to anyone or any opinion pains them to their core. They made a few special announcements that if the non-vegan hot dog rolls were unacceptable, you didn’t need to pay as much for your food.

Ditto, no! It’s cheese toast! Are we talking about the same thing? Bread placed on sheet of foil in the broiler with a slice of cheese placed on top, heated for about 35 seconds?
