I know I shouldn’t either – but I have a husband who INSISTS on brown leather couches
ok fair enough but I then add cream colored accents to sorta lighten up the place!
BxGrl – I didn’t know that – but it makes sense
so are you saying that peeps that planted those trees 70 years ago knew not to dig too deep to avoid sewers? But not lines as they didn’t put lines in the ground back then, right?
Gem- I never get cream anything. It looks great fo 15 minutes, then a cat will hork up a hairball, or I’ll spill a can of tomato soup, or drop a can of paint. Cream (and white) scream “stain me! stain me!” to me.
Channel 2 news reports really widespread damage all over the city and bad flooding on the Grand Central
Wow! I think the root ball of that tree looks shallow- I read that the city tries to plant trees with roots that stay close to the trunk instead of snaking everywhere and getting into pipes and utility lines. Might explain why even some very old trees get uprooted wehn you would think they had very deep extensive roots to anchor them.
