  1. Has anyone tried kombucha?

In Japan, there is a tea called kombucha made from kelp or seaweed. Kombucha is also a used as a base for soups, but I understand that the term is also used for a fermented tea which is different. This fermented tea is supposed to have medicinal benefits. And in Japan, kelp is used in everything – soups, teas. It’s seaweed. Don’t know what you had…

    Back to work.

  2. Hola peoplez. Been busy at the toy shop past couple of days and I’ve just recovered from the Monday eve Jay and Em concert at Yankee Stadium (first concert at the new Yankee stadium). Overall awesome time and the concert lasted for almost 6 hours (with a couple of 20 minute breaks). My ears only stopped ringing this morning and it was ridiculous good times and well worth it.

The total attendance was about 62,000 people at that concert. Not too shabby for supposingly “shitty” concert/music as some of you stated yesterday. My opinion about this whole music thing – If you can sell out 62,000 seats in 5 minutes, then you can judge whose “music” is supposingly shitty and whose not.

Dona..you still have geography problems. The latest accident was near Washington Avenue. Far from Hoyt but closer to you.

oh, really? Duh. How did I get that wrong. THAT is not the Bermuda Triangle, but that makes it even scarier.

    Hi Pete.

  4. jessi, as I’ve said here before, it is easier for me to post discreetly from a minimized window on one of my screens than to discreetly pick up my BlackBerry at my desk — which I’ve been told NOT to do — so I can only send/receive personal emails when I’m away from my desk, which I rarely am, since I even stop in the cafeteria on my way to my desk in the morning and fetch myself breakfast and lunch since it’s so difficult to leave my desk during the day.
