I thought about sending it back,
but when it comes to food, I’m really not
that picky.
I prefer medium rare but don’t mind medium well.
I once went to Danube and ended up heading to
Gray’s Papaya right after. 😉
The problem with the insurers is this,
they are a necessary evil.
That is of course, stated with the understanding
that we still see insurance for what it is:
a form of coverage to be used sparingly and when needed.
Like most things in America, we’ve become so gluttonous that we think just because we get an insurance card, we’re supposed to start visiting the doctor’s office like a cheap strip club.
The way things are moving, and we are beginning to see the larger picture here, the feds are aiming to squeeze the private insurers into their own mold and into non-profitablility. But only after the stupid insurance industry has helped to set up the “insurance exchanges” and “high risk pools” mandated by the Healthcare Reform bill.
Once that’s done, why would big daddy government want the private insurers around any longer, not when they could simply take over.
SS won’t be around when I retire, dibs, or I just might die before the age (I’m sure they’ll make it 90 by the time I want to stop “working”) kicks in where I can collect SS.
“People my age and younger are pretty much f*cked.”
Do you really believe that? Do you plan to have children?
dibs – I agree about steak – what else can they do wrong?
The hole for the hinge is circular & fairly deep – it’d be tricky to chisel.
